Delving a little deeper, and a little darker, Corby spent the past few years in home studios all over the world ending up in a cottage in rural NSW Australia where he wrote, recorded and co-produced the album alongside Dann Hume. All those late night conversations, every semi-fledged thought, ended up on the album-a process Corby found therapeutic: "I'm kind of playing psychologist to myself lyrically."
