These recordings of the great Thelonious Monk were recorded at The Newport Jazz Festival on the 3rd of July 1963. The personnel of the group consists as follows: Charli Rouse tenor saxophone, Butch Warren bass, Frankie Dunlop drums and of course Thelonious Monk at the piano.
