Brian Freeman has been performing both traditional and contemporary Scots folksongs including those of Robert Burns in America and Scotland for almost 30 years. Brian has performed in concerts, at festivals and any other place a wee song sung in a lilting incomprehensible dialect is appreciated. Born with five fingers (no thumb) on his right hand, Freeman developed a unique flatpick/fingerpick guitar style that has elicited praise from musicians and audience alike. This style beautifully compliments his vocals which convey all the pathos and humor inherent in Celtic music. Brian's other instruments include octave mandolin, tenor banjo, mandolin and bodhran. Brian is available for Folk Concerts, Celtic Festivals, and Scottish Games as a soloist or with various accompanists.
