Originally released in 2000 as Enon burst on the scene to wide acclaim, this is a much beloved and oft-overlooked record, bridging the gap between the 20th and 21st centuries - full of effects, samples, pop sensibilities, and a complete respect for and disregard of the rules. Pitchfork called Enon lyricist/guitarist John Schmersal (Brainiac) "one of indie rock's most consistently compelling songwriters".
