Vinyl LP repressing. This long out of print album was originally released in 1973. It is a classic representation of the Chicago blues sound post Chess Records featuring a who's who of the best sidemen of the genre. Willie Dixon is one of the most prolific songwriters of his time. He is a Grammy Award winner, Rock And Roll Hall of Fame Inductee, Blues Hall of Fame Inductee and Songwriters Hall of Fame Inductee. Dixon was proficient in playing both the upright bass and the guitar. Next to Muddy Waters, Dixon is recognized as the most influential person in shaping the post-World War II sound of the Chicago blues. Dixon's songs have been recorded by countless musicians in many genres as well as by various ensembles in which he participated.
