Vocalist Kim Shattuck's pop-punk voice is a memorable feature on this group's debut album. Shattuck's vocal style ranges across different genres, poppy and intense. The Muffs's vast talent landed them at famed venue CBGB in 1995. The band's sound remained high-quality over the years and even continued to shine on the album "No Holiday", which was recorded before Shattuck's passing in 2019.
