Kenny Wayne Shepherd's reverence for his musical roots are center-stage on 10 Days Out, a CD+DVD package that features the guitarslinger and Double Trouble rhythm section of bassist Tommy Shannon and drummer Chris Layton performing with some of the greatest blues players of our time, as well as lesser-known but historically significant bluesmen.

Shepherd enlists a documentary crew and travels the highways and byways of "-Belt" America, stopping in at various and sundry blues legends' homes, bars and local clubs, doing duty as both bandleader and session player. Nobody takes a swing at him for trespassing or anything. Guess anyone can play the blues.
