About This Release
Sam Gendel, who is highly acclaimed as a saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist, has released his latest album 'blueblue', which is named after the pattern of 'sashiko', a traditional embroidery of Japan that developed in the Edo period! With Craig Weinrib on drums, this important work was born from the exquisite 'fluctuation' led by repetition and deviation.
