This 1970 release of the Thad Jones / Mel Lewis orchestra is considered the best of all the albums they recorded together. Trumpeter Thad Jones and drummer Mel Lewis are joined by trumpeter Marvin Stamm, trombonist Jimmy Knepper, saxophonist Billy Harper, the reeds of Jerome Richardson, Jerry Dodgion and Eddie Daniels, keyboardist Roland Hanna, and bassist Richard Davis.
