In the same line as Mostly Autumn, Karnataka is looking for the ultiones, and from the obvious talents of his partners when it comes to draw romantic atmospheres. The nice soli of electric guitar may remind someone like Andy Latimer (Camel) or like David GILMOUR (Pink Floyd) in a state of grace, while the introduction of the flute brings a welcomed folkloric touch. We are sometimes close to the standarts established by Enya or Clannad. As it's name says it, the DVD 'live in the USA' is an interesting token of the musical peregrinations of Karnataka, captured when the group played in the Classical Rock Festival (The Patriots Theater, Trenton, NJ) on October 6th 2002. After doing two excellent albums (Eponyme in 1998 and 'the Storm' in 2000), the group shows a very natural ease. It's also an opportunity to play on stage some of the comopositions which will appaer the following year on 'Delicate Flame Of Desire', it's latest studio album. Don't you miss this !
