Don't be fooled by the casual titles: no mere slacker could spread his versatility across two simultaneous yet very different discs as inventively as Hargrove does here. The 36-year-old trumpeter blows trad jazz with his quintet on the former and collaborates with his jazz/hip-hop collective RH Factor on the latter.
