2020 release. Ihsahn's Pharos is musically and conceptually like a reverse image of the previous EP, Telemark. Where Telemark was all about the familiar, the close to heart and home, Pharos is taking a distant perspective outward, a journey, in a more exploratory mindset. Writing Telemark was almost like making a statement, whereas going into Pharos was more like taking on a challenge. Binding them together is the structural similarities of 3 original songs and two cover songs that influenced the direction.
