2009 two CD deluxe edition of this Punk classic including a bonus CD and a host of bonus material including demos, BBC sessions, backing tracks and more. Germ Free Adolescents was X-Ray Spex's debut album, originally released in 1978. It received wide acclaim upon it's release. Village Voice, critic Robert Christgau bemoaned the fact that Germ Free Adolescents had not been released in the US and praised Poly Styrene's "cheerfully moralistic nursery rhymes", strong melodies, and the "irresistible color" of the band's "dubiously tuned one-sax horn section". The album has, in recent years, been regarded as a seminal Punk album, containing the UK hit singles 'The Day the World Turned Day-Glo', 'Identity', and 'Germ Free Adolescents'. 41 tracks. Sanctuary.
