The Film is based in Portland, Oregon. They have been playing together for about five years. The music is high-energy, straight-forward rock with tried and true guitar tones and vocal hooks. Their first album was recorded and produced by the band. They are currently unsigned, but hope to find a distribution and/or recording deal in the coming year. They also satisfy the Canadian MAPL requirements to qualify as 'Canadian Content' so they hope to get radio play and book a Canadian tour in the near future.
