His songs tell both humurous and sad stories of same. He performed on the Johnny Cash show and was brought to Washington D C for the 1976 bicentenial celebration of the nation. His first album sold over 250,000 with out being sponsered by a major studio. He drowned in Alaska in 1983 and his music hasn't been available until now. I Steven Martin Buzz's oldest son started performing dads music about four years ago and recorded the CD A Tribute To My Dad Buzz Martin. Folks that i've performed for say that i sound very much like dad and are pleased with my rendition of dads music, which my goal is to get dads music to the people that want it live or on CD. Steven Martin.
