EDUCATED GUESS is a unique project for singer-songwriter Ani DiFranco. Not only does DiFranco play all the instruments and provide all the lead and backing vocals, but for the first time in her career she's done everything else as well: recorded the entire thing on vintage reel-to-reel equipment in her two home studios, even engineered and mixed the album herself. The set-up is raw and minimal, but Ani's vision is broad as ever as she sings about overlapping personal and politcal themes with her trademark intimacy and intensity.
