The North Mississippi Allstars'fifth album, Hernando, marks the first release since 2005's critically acclaimed Electric Blue Watermelon and the first on the band's own label. The band decided to cut the lines from the past with the new album and create their most personal statement yet. To celebrate this newfound unity in independence, the new album is named after the trio's hometown.
