Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the pop rocker including six bonus tracks. Singer and songwriter Dion epitomized the indigenous music of the Bronx streets where he was raised. Even at the onset of his career he had a compelling voice which was adaptable to sweet harmonizing, Doo Wop, Rock 'n' Roll, and R&B. He also had the competence to deliver the quintessential Teen-Pop themes of romance, unrequited love and loneliness in a convincingly sensitive fashion. This CD includes two of Dion's finest LPs, which were originally released on the Laurie label: his first solo album ALONE WITH DION (1961), and LOVERS WHO WANDER (1962). Both records boast great moments from Dion's hit-making stretch from the early '60s, such as 'Lonely Teenager', 'Come Go with Me', and 'Little Diane', among others. They have been remastered and packaged together in this collector's edition, which also contains six bonus tracks, including the fabulous 'Runaround Sue', 'The Wanderer', and an excellent cover of Bobby Darin's 'Dream Lover', plus two more.
