At the center of Jenny's Tribe remains the song writing of Jenny Elizabeth Jones of Boston, Mass. In this effort, we hear a lot more of her in the form of drums and bass in addition to what we usually experience: vocals, violins, vox and verve. Complementing her own parts are a host of excellent players offering up some new sound flavors, most notably, trumpets. If you like your tunes filled with lots of sound and little language, this stuff isn't for you. But if story telling is a big part of your listening experience, you're going to love this effort. It's packed with 72 minutes of sound, 18 tracks in all. Jenny's re-released three previous tunes with completely different instrumentation that act as beautiful counterparts to the 15 new pieces.
