Largely considered the most influential guitarist of the 20th century, Django Reinhardt invented the genre now known as Gypsy jazz that has increasingly gained popularity in every decade since it's inception in the mid 1930's. Originally released in the US on ten inch LP in 1954, a year after the guitar legend's untimely demise - this features some of Django's best performances from his late 1940's period. All selections newly remastered.
